Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my Great Aunt Alice. She is 98 today and is such an amazing woman. She is one of the people that I am named after and it is such an honor. She is a remarkable lady, if you could just sit and talk with her for an hour or so, it is amazing to listen to all the things she has been through and seen in her lifetime. She is 98 and still practices law, she still gets up every morning and heads to the office. It meant so much that she was able to be at my wedding a little over a year ago. I don't think anyone will know just how much that meant to me. Like I said she is an AMAZING woman and I am so glad that she has been a part of my life. Happy Birthday Alice...i love you!!

Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day was pretty uneventful. I had off work all weekend but unfortunately Rob had to work. Saturday was of course game day....WAR EAGLE!! Our friend Kelley and my sister Sara came over Saturday evening to watch the Auburn and the Alabama game. We just have basic cable so we weren't able to get ESPN U so Rob found a way to get it on the internet so we pulled up chairs in our computer room and watched the Auburn game while the Alabama game was on the TV in the den. We ordered pizza and had a great time, even our Allie girl was supporting her team.

Sunday Rob went in to work and I was pretty lazy, I washed a few loads of clothes and straightened up a bit around the house and that was about it. Monday was no different I didn't do very much. It was so nice just getting to relax and not have to do anything. I hope that everyone had a great Labor Day weekend, I could get used to having a holiday every week!

We are Family...

This past weekend my mom, dad, sister and brother-in-law all came to in town. We were all getting together to celebrate my sister Sara's birthday which was Aug. 31. My mom and dad got here early afternoon and mom and I headed to Lowe's to pick out tile for our guest bathroom. Once we got finished there Anna and Cole had gotten in town so we all headed to the Half Shell for lunch. Once lunch was finished we all sat for a while and then we had to get ready to take our christmas card pictures. Any of you who know my mom know that she is OBESSED with pictures and every year we have to take a christmas card picture that she sends out to everyone. The reason we took it this past weekend is because we are not sure when we will all be in the same place at one time. After the picture it was time for dinner. Rob cooked out hamburgers and I made homemade Mac & Cheese and we had birthday cake for dessert.

I always enjoy spending time with my family. I cherish every moment that we are able to all get together. Here are a few pictures to recap our weekend.
