January 27, 2011

You may be wondering why the title to my post my post is January 27, 2011. Well that day was a very big/special day for us. After many many prayers we found out that we are PREGNANT!!! That's right we are pregnant!!

On the afternoon of January 27th the doctors office called me while I was still at work and told me the good news. They called around 2 and Rob got off at 3. I couldn't just call him and tell him over the phone, I had been waiting too long to tell him this news so I had to tell him in person. Ever since we had started trying to get pregnant I have been holding onto this bib that says "I love daddy" to give Rob whenever we found out that we were pregnant. I left work early so that Rob could get home and then I could show up after him. I got home, jumped out of the car and ran in the house holding the bib and yelled WE'RE PREGNANT! Rob jumped up and we hugged and we both had tears in our eyes, we just couldn't believe it.

Now I had to go ahead and tell my family, I just couldn't keep that news from them. My grandmother's (my mom's mom)birthday was January 28th and my mom had gone to Birmingham for the weekend. So I thought perfect, both my sisters live there and my mom will be there, what a perfect time to get everyone together and tell them all at once. So I told them that I had a doctor's appointment Saturday morning in Birmingham and then I was going to go by Anna's to see her and the twins and that I would love to see everybody else while I was there for the afternoon. So I went over to Anna's and hung out with her and the twins and then my mom and grandmother came over and then Sara came and brought lunch. While we were all sitting around I said "Hey mom, let me show you this pretty picture I took the other day", she said "ok". So she put her glasses on not knowing what she was about to see. When she looked at my camera, this is what she saw:

It took her a minute and she was just sitting there crying, and Anna was like, "let me see" and grabbed the camera from mom and yelled "Shut Up" and hugged me. Then Sara was like " Can I see the camera" she looked at the picture and said "Well I should have known". And I got this all on video so that I have everyone's reaction. I then called my dad on the phone to tell him and he was thrilled! It was all very exciting! Everyone was so happy.

I still can't believe it! This has been a long and trying journey but now we are going to get to bring a little one into this world. Rob and I couldn't be happier and more excited! I am 9 weeks now and Baby Mosley is due around the beginning of October. This is going to be one LOVED baby. I have always said that I feel like I was put on this earth to be a mother. I feel like I have always had the motherly type personality. I can't wait to see what this wonderful journey has in store for us.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Snow Day and WARRR EAGLE!!!

I guess you would call it a snow day or an ice day. Since the weather was threatening to be bad they cancelled work for today, which is fine by me! We haven't gotten any snow but I am not complaining. I hope that all of you didn't get too bad of weather.
Tonight the Auburn Tigers play for the National Championship!! I am SO excited and nervous at the same time. Thank goodness the weather didn't get bad enough that we lost power, that would have be terrible. We will definitely be here at the house cheering on our Tigers!!
WARRRRRRR EAGLE, HEY!!!!

War... Eagle, fly down the field.

Ever to conquer, never to yield.

War... Eagle, fearless and true.

Fight on, you orange and blue.

Go! Go! Go!

On to vict'ry, strike up the band.

Give 'em hell, give 'em hell;

Stand up and yell, Hey!

War...Eagle win for Auburn,

Power of Dixie Land!

Photo hanger

A good month or so ago my friend Laura had a post about this great photo hanger for your Christmas cards. So I went on the website and ordered one b/c I never have enough room on the side of my refrigerator. And this keeps the side of my refrigerator from becoming so cluttered. I LOVE receiving Christmas cards and I like to display them all year. I Love it!!

Also in my last post as I was posting about Chirstmas, I forgot to post a picture of our Christmas Tree. I loved our Christmas Tree this year. I thought it was very pretty.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

I'm Back

For those who missed me, I am back to blogging. Sorry for the little break. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday. We had a great Christmas with family, it was a lot of traveling but so much fun to spend such special time with family!
Instead of trying to catch up on everything, I am just going to post about our Christmas. The weekend before Christmas Rob, Allie and I headed to Daphne, AL. to visit Rob's cousin Blaise, Courtney and their baby Rowan. We hadn't seen them in a long time so it was definitely a great trip. I am hoping we can make this a tradition that we get together with them to celebrate Christmas. We got to Daphne that Saturday afternoon and we all went out to lunch and then they drove us through Fairhope, I could definitely live there. That evening Rowan opened his gift from us and he LOVED it. It was this activity table that made noises and sang, I just knew he'd love it since he is starting to pull up on things. Here are a few pictures I took of him. Isn't he sooo cute?!

The week of Christmas on that Wednesday we kept Henry Grenon while his parents went out to dinner. It was fun having a baby in the house. He is walking now and just oh so cute!

Christmas Eve we headed to Auburn to spend Christmas with my dads side of the family. We had a great time catching up with everyone. This was the twins first Christmas so that was a lot of fun. Christmas day we got up and then headed to Birmingham to spend Christmas with my moms side of the family. As we were driving it started snowing. It snowed all that evening and then the next day and even stuck to the ground. So we indeed had a White Christmas. Christmas was so much fun this year with all the babies around!

Our Christmas was wonderful! New Year's Eve we went out for Sushi with the Grenon's and then I was in bed by 10:00 so we didn't do anything exciting, Rob had to work the next day. I hope that all of you had a great Christmas. And I pray that everyone has a wonderful and blessed New Year!! I can't believe it's 2011! We are praying for good things happening this year!!

A quick visit to Birmingham!

On Thursday October 7th, Rob and I had to travel to B'ham for an appointment, once we got done we headed over to my sisters house to see her and the twins. This was the first time that Rob met the twins! I was so glad that we were able to stop by. We had a very nice visit, it just wasn't long enough. They are changing every day. We also got to see my sister Sara which was a nice treat. I was so happy that we had to go to b'ham that day. It is always wonderful when I get to see my sisters and Ellen & Cole!

I Believe....

in Auburn and Love it! We went to the AU/S.Carolina game the other weekend and had a blast. It was a great game. I just love the atmosphere at Auburn games, the people yelling, the music and of course the Auburn Tigers out on the field. The game didn't start till 6:45, we got to Auburn around 12:30 and went to my grandparents (my dad's parents) to visit with them and eat some lunch. We had such a nice visit, it had been a while since we had seen them last.

Once we left their house we went to meet up with our friends Dan & Julie to tailgate for a little bit before the game.

Our friends Julie & Dan

We sat around, had a few drinks and listened to most of the Alabama game and then around 5:40 we started heading to the stadium. We wanted to get there in time to see the eagle fly!

The game was great and we had such a wonderful time. We can't wait to go back to the next Auburn game!

This post is a little behind. Sorry about that, I am trying to catch up!
