Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 34 weeks and 1 day!! I can't believe it!
Size of Baby: Baby's now the size of a honeydew!(according to thebump.com) Baby can recognize and react to simple songs...time to start practicing lullabies! In fact, baby will recognize frequently sung tunes after birth and probably find them soothing. Growth (at least inside your womb) is starting to slow, and you may notice baby descend into your pelvis at the end of this month.
Total Weight Gain/Maternity Clothes: 16 lbs. so far. I am wearing all maternity clothes except for like one or two tops.
Movement: We definitely have one active little boy! We love feeling and seeing all of his movements. His movements have definitely changed, they are no longer little punches and kicks, we can feel and see him rolling all around.
What I miss: I really don't miss anything. I have enjoyed being pregnant!
Food Cravings: none lately. I love anything sweet :)!
Sleep: Very hard to sleep these days. I have so much trouble getting comfortable. Once i'm asleep I am fine, it's just getting to that point.
Symptoms: Tiredness and that is about it right now
Best Moment of the Week: I had my baby shower this past weekend and it was so nice. I will be doing a post about that soon. Also, I had a doctors appointment yesterday and everything is looking good. Jack is measuring right on track and he has a very strong heartbeat. The doctor also said he is head down :)!
What I am Looking forward To: Meeting this little guy. We can't wait and are getting anxious! I have another appointment in 2 weeks, then I start going every week...ahhh!!
34 weeks!!
This is a terrible picture of me, I had had a long day and was HOT and
tired!
I cannot believe that we are getting so close to meeting our son. It all seems so surreal. We are definitely getting anxious, just to know what he is going to look like.
I've been feeling pretty good. It is defintely HOT. Just getting in and out of the car and doing things around the house, I break into a sweat. It's getting harder for me to do a lot of things. I am trying to take it easy but that is hard to do when your trying to get everything just perfect for this little guy to arrive. Sometimes when I think of all I need or want to do, I start getting a little overwhelmed. Ok, this is one bad quality about myself. I am a perfectionest sometimes, I just have it in my head that I want things to be a certain way and if they are not, it starts to stress me out. In anyone elses standards, if Jack were to come today, we would be fine and yes, we would be, but things still aren't quite the way I want them to be. Rob has definitely been a big help but sometimes I hate asking him to do things when I can just do them myself, another bad quality of mine. Ok enough of all that. I am going to try and soak in these last 6 weeks of having this little guy in my belly and these last 6 weeks of us being just a family of 2 (well 3 if you count our Allie dog). We just can't believe that is 6 weeks or less we will have our son in our arms.
