Our little boy turned 9 months old last Wednesday. Sorry I'm late getting this post up I just don't have as much time to sit at my computer anymore. Jack is so much fun these days and has such a cute personality.
Let's see what Jack has been up to lately....
- He is scooting now. He scoots backwards but hey, you gotta start somewhere. If he is laying on the floor, he rolls everywhere. If he wants something he usually rolls to get it. I can already tell it won't be long before he is into everything!! When we put him to bed either at night or for nap times, he just rolls all over and he's started turning himself around. When we lay him in the crib his head is at the head of the crib but sometimes he will turn himself and we will look on the monitor and his head will be at the foot of the crib. He is a funny little boy!!
- In the eating department. He eats four 6oz bottles a day, he will eat a bottle about every 4 hours. In the morning when he wakes up, he gets a bottle. Then for breakfast about an hour and a half later, he will eat oatmeal and a fruit. He will then take a nap and then when he wakes up take another bottle, play a little then eat lunch. For lunch he will eat a veggie and half a fruit. He loves puffs these days and also love these Gerber Fruit and Veggie melts. He is a good eater, he likes just about anything we give him.
- He is wearing mostly 9 months clothes right now. I have put him in one or two 12m things but of course they are still a little big. He is also still wearing a size 3 diaper. It is time for me to go through his closet and drawers again and pack up his 6m clothes. I get so sad when it's time to pack things up. My baby is growing!
- Jack loves to babble. He babbles all the time. He will say Mama and Dada but I still don't think he's too sure what he is saying. We love hearing all of his little noises!
- He took is first bath in the big bathtub a few nights ago and loved it! It was crazy seeing my little baby sitting in such a big bathtub. We have these little frog grippers that stick to the bottom of the tub to keep him from slipping, well he kept pulling those up and playing with them...haha. He loves to splash and has always loved bath time!
- He still has no teeth, surely he will get some one day :)! I love his little gummy smile.
- He is still doing well in the sleeping department. He takes 2 naps a day and goes to bed about 6:15 6:30 every night and doesn't wake up till about 6. I don't get him out of the bed till 6:30 bc I am getting myself ready for the day. He will just lay in there and play and talk until I come get him.
- He loves to clap these days. When he gets happy or excited or sometime just for no reason, he will start clapping. One night I looked on the monitor after I had put him to bed and he was just laying there clapping, it was hilarious!
- He is a very happy baby. People ask me all the time if he is always happy. Well, he has his moments just like any baby does but for the most part he is very happy.

Rob and I say all the time we don't know what we did before he came into our lives. And I really don't remember. He has brought so much joy and happiness to our lives, it's incredible.
Jack, thank you for coming into our lives. We thank God everyday for blessing us with you. You are such a joy and your personality lights up a room. You are such a sweet little boy and I hope you always stay that way. You bring so much fun to our lives. You will always be our little boy no matter how big you get. We love so much Jack that words can't even begin to describe it.
Love, Mama & Dada
