Our Gender Reveal

On Friday morning October 18th, we were headed to the doctor to find out what Baby Mosley #2 would be. Only we didn't find out. We told the ultrasound tech not tell us, to write it down and put the pictures in an envelope that I brought with us and seal it. We did get to see the baby, just no parts were shown to us. The tech said that everything with the baby looked great!! We met with our doc and then we were headed back to Troy to drop the envelope off with a local bakery and they were to fill cupcakes with either pink or blue, whatever was in that envelope.

We packed everything up, went to get Jack from daycare, got the cupcakes from the bakery and off to Birmingham we went for a little gender reveal with our family! We had our ultrasound at 10am and we didn't bite into a cupcake until around 5:30pm.

We got to my sister Sara's house and got things ready. There were decorations on the door and balloons, we kept it very simple.

Everyone was ready to find out!!

Time to bite into a cupcake. Please excuse my face, I was trying to take a big bite so we could see what was in the center...haha.

BEST picture of the night!! This captures our reactions very well!

Yes, we bit into the cupcake and saw PINK!! We are having a girl and can't believe it.

I LOVE my sweet little family!

We are so thrilled to be adding a little girl to our family! I was so sure that this was going to be a boy because my pregnancy has been pretty much the exact same as it was when I was pregnant with Jack. Even the heart rate of this baby was the same as Jack's so I just knew we were going to bite into that cupcake and see blue. Even when we left the doctors office that morning I was still convinced it was boy. We would have been thrilled no matter what color had been in that cupcake, we are just thankful she is healthy and looking good.

Some of my friends couldn't believe we waited almost all day to find out. I was so glad we did it the way we did. It was special and so fun to find out with everyone!!!

A little announcement...

We are EXPECTING!! Everyone already knows, I just wanted to make it blog official! We found out July 10th, two days before my 32nd birthday that we were pregnant with another miracle baby. We are so so blessed and thankful for our new little blessing.

We told our family first, but we didn't tell them when we first found out. We had to wait a whole 2 weeks before we told anyone. I was waiting on a shirt to be made and for everyone to be together :). We headed to Birmingham for my sisters kids birthday party weekend and that is when we broke the news. I changed Jack into his Big Brother shirt and had him walk out in front of everybody to see who noticed if anyone noticed first. Well Sara was the first one to notice and just looked and me with big eyes wondering if it was true. Then Anna saw that something was going on and Sara told her to look at Jack's shirt. Then everyone noticed and started screaming and mom started crying. It was so much fun seeing everyone's reactions, it was a total surprise!!

After we told my family we made it facebook official to share the good news with our family and friends!

This was Baby Mosley #2 at 9 weeks!

Baby Mosley #2 is due March 19, 2014. We can't wait!!

*Gender Reveal post coming soon :)*

Pumpkin Patch!

Two weeks ago we headed to the pumpkin patch in Union Springs. We went in the late afternoon when Rob got off work. I just knew Jack was going to love it because we had been talking about the pumpkin patch for weeks. We got there and Jack immediately started pitching a fit bc he did not want to ride in his stroller, nor did he want to walk, he wanted to be carried :/. He was being a typical two year old, you just never know when they are going to decide to throw a fit!
We headed in and immediately saw the jumpy houses and Jack wanted to go see them. He would not get in one and the ones he wanted to get in were too big for him. After we looked at the jumpy houses we found the "cow train" as Jack calls it and of course he wanted to ride so I rode with him. We had fun!

After the "cow train" we walked to the pumpkins, which was a pretty long walk especially carrying a two year old! On our walk to the pumpkins we passed some bales of hay that had a big black tube between them that you could slide down. Jack saw this and wanted to slide, finally he started having a little fun. It was so cute seeing my baby happy to be sliding down a tube...haha.

We did this for awhile then finally made it to the pumpkins. I wanted so bad to get a cute picture of Jack holding a pumpkin but with the mood he was in, he wasn't having it. He started picking up pumpkins and throwing them..ha. We finally picked out two pumpkins then headed home.

Even though it wasn't the perfect trip, we did have fun and we created some good family memories!

Jack turns 2!!

It's time to get back to my blog. I was going to try and recap everything that has happened since the last time I blogged but I decided that would take forever. I will just pick up at Jack's 2nd birthday.

Jack turned two September 27, we had his party on Saturday September 28th and it was a beautiful day!! We had a Mickey Mouse themed party and it turned out great.

We started Friday morning off with candles in his waffle and he absolutely loved it.

Nine Years!

Who knew that nine years ago when I met Rob that we would now be married and have a baby?! Rob and I met and started dating in 2004. On this day nine years ago, we started dating. Of course at that time I had no idea that this would be the man that I was going to marry, but it didn't take me long to figure out that I loved this man a lot. I can sit here and honestly say that the nine years that we have been together have been pretty great!! We have had so much fun and created so many great memories in the past nine years. He is truly my best friend! I look forward to creating many more fun memories in the many years ahead. Thank you Rob for loving me like you do!! I love you so much and have no idea what I would do without you!

Clean Teeth!!

We have a little boy who loves to brush his teeth. The other day we went to Wal-Mart and while we were there we got Jack an Elmo toothbrush and Jake & the Neverland Pirates toothpaste. He was excited. As soon as we got home he ran to the bathroom saying "teeth, teeth". We are going to make brushing teeth part of his nightly routine, so we put the toothbrush and toothpaste up and waited until bath time. The minute we mentioned it was bath time, he ran to bathroom saying "teeth, teeth". So we sat him on the counter and put a tiny drop of toothpaste on the brush. Jack sat there so excited and opened his mouth and let Rob brush his teeth. Rob then let go of the toothbrush and we let Jack do it on his own. He thought he was such a big boy, he loved it. Needless to say, when we were finished, he pitched a fit bc he wanted to brush his teeth all night...haha.
I know that this is something new and fun to him right now, but I hope he always enjoys brushing his teeth. His Papa will be so proud ;)!!
