I have made up my mind...

Ok, I have finally made up my mind that I am going to lose some weight and get healthy. I always say that and then I never keep it. I will get up and go to the gym for a few weeks but then I will miss a day and then i never go back...story of my life. My husband absolutely loves to work out, me on the other hand I don't love it, it is just something I have to do. I am not saying I am overweight by any means but I have gained a few unwanted pounds over the last few months. I want to enjoy working out and maybe if I keep it up i will come to like it more. The older I have gotten the harder it is to get/keep the weight off. It is so easy to just go pick up something unhealthy to eat or cook unhealthy. We do pretty good in the cooking dept. b/c of my husband. We pretty much grill out chicken every night and usually have a salad or some vegetable. But some nights its just easy to go pick something up. We have the Biggest Loser cookbook which has some great recipes and I have got to start cooking out of more. I love the Biggest Loser, we watch it every tues. night. I think it is a very inspirational show. I know i can do it if i just don't get off track and keep my mind on what i want to accomplish. I have never had to worry about weight until I got out of high school and got older. It seems like the older we get the less active we become. I am about to change that. Starting tomorrow morning I plan to go to the gym at least 3 to 4 times a week. I have to go in the morning before work b/c when i get off work all i want to do is go home and relax. I will keep you posted on how I am doing every now and then. I have finally made up my mind that I am going to do this and I am going to stick to it.


On another note. You will probably start to realize the more you read my blog that I am a very random person. I will start off talking about one thing and then switch to something totally different...haha. I know i keep changing my blog layout but i always see cute ones and i can never make up my mind. Plus I have fun changing it. I am going to try to keep this one for a while.


I had the most wonderful weekend. I had a long weekend b/c Monday was President's Day so I had off work. Rob had this weekend off and it was just wonderful getting to spend the whole weekend with my husband. We didn't do very much but it was just nice to lounge around the house with him. I hope that everyone had a great weekend as well.
