Seaside and thats about it!

I have been told I needed to update my blog, sorry it has been awhile.

The weekend of October 17 we had another girls trip to Seaside, FL. We went back in March and I blogged about it. It was me, my sister Anna, sister Sara, my aunt and my cousins, the only person we were missing this time was my cousin-in-law Katie. It was a weekend full of relaxation, games and good family time! I always enjoy getting to spend time with my family. Most of us didn't get down there till late Friday night so we didn't do very much Friday. Saturday we got up and of course headed to the outlet mall to look around and we all ended up buying something. Saturday night we went to dinner and then came back to the house and watched part of the Alabama game and the Auburn game. After the football games we played Mad Gab. I don't know if any of you have ever played this game before but it is absolutely hilarious and so fun to play with a group of people. We had such a wonderful weekend!
Other than the Seaside weekend nothing too exciting has been going on, at least nothing exciting to blog about. Last Monday October 19 our good friends, The Grenon's gave birth to a beautiful boy, and last Friday when they got back home we went over to visit and I have to tell you, there is nothing more perfect than a newborn! I really cherish our friendship with them.

I am sorry there is not much news to share. Hope everyone who reads my blog is doing well! Until next time.....

P.S. I have a question for you bloggers out there. Let's see if I can write this out to make sense. If I want to post a link, I know that I click on the little world looking icon at the top but how do you change the name of the link? Example: In the first part of this post I wrote how back in March we visited seaside and I blogged about it, well I wanted to post the link to that post to just read here or somthing like that. Does that make sense? If not tell me and I will try to come up with a better way to explain it...haha.

An old favorite..

Look what Montgomery has now

I am SUPER excited!!! I haven't eaten at Momma G's since I lived in Auburn. It was one of my favorite places to eat when i lived there and I didn't live far from it. When Sara and I were in Montgomery not too long ago we noticed that there was one so we said that next time we had to go to Montgomery we would eat there. Well it just so happened that we had to go Monday to get Sara a few things so we ended up eating there. It was as good as I remembered. I just wanted to let you all know that they have one now if any of you love it as much as I do.

Good Friends!

I LOVE football season, it's a great time for good friends, good food and good football. This past weekend we had some of our good friends, Amanda & Leon and Matt & Jennifer come in town for football. Needless to say the Auburn game was horrible, but we had some good food and good fellowship. Matt ended up bringing us some raw oysters from Dothan and we ended up shucking a few and grilling them, they were delicious, I love raw oysters!
Here I am enjoying an oyster...haha

Here are Amanda and I sitting on the back deck with our wiener dog babies
And lastly here are a picture of the guys

We had a great weekend!! This coming up weekend I am heading to Seaside with the girls in my family. A post and pictures to come later.

Lately...

What's been going on in our life lately? Nothing too exciting, I haven't posted in about two weeks so I figured I need to get going again. We have been in the process of remodling our guest bathroom. The bathtub has been replaced and all the tile and grout has been laid and it looks great! We still have to paint the walls and get a new mirror and a few new fixtures and it will be done. As soon as we finish I will post before and after pictures.

Last Friday night my sister Sara and I went to Montgomery to dinner and a movie, we met up with my friend Amanda and her sister Catherine. They all ate at Five Guys and I ate at Panera and then we went and saw the movie "Love Happens" with Jennifer Anniston. It was a cute movie.

Remember the post I did back in July about getting new neighbors, well the house has been built and they have moved in and we couldn't be happier. We had them over last Saturday for football, burgers and homemade mac & cheese. We had a great time and Auburn won...WAR EAGLE. We hope this is the start of many more get togethers with them.

On Monday night I met up with two of my favorite girls, Amanda & Genie. I met them in Montgomery for dinner at Olive Garden. We had a great time catching up. I look terrible in this picture but i thought i would post it anyway.

This weekend Rob had to work so we stayed in town and didn't do much. Rob and I watched the AU/TN game saturday night and Auburn won! After the game we went up to a local bar here to watch our neighbor and his band play and they were GREAT! Today has been a pretty lazy day for me, I have washed a few clothes and dishes and thats about it. Hope that everyone had a good weekend as well.

Like I said not too much has been going on around here. I can't believe it's already October, this year is just flying by. It will be Christmas before we know it. Hopefully I will have so good posts coming up soon.
